Salsa on the Square 2026 returns to the newly renovated, historic Decatur Square, bringing the city back together for another unforgettable night of music, dance, and community celebration.
Lineup TBD, but expect the square to come alive with Latin rhythms, local food and artisan vendors, and free dance lessons that welcome everyone from first-timers to seasoned salseros. Under the stars, the night will unfold as a vibrant celebration of culture, connection, and pure dance-floor energy in the heart of Decatur.

Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, celebrates the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Placita Latina is our local celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, to help create awareness of the many perspectives and Latinx people in the city of Decatur and beyond.
